Hotel Asnigo, in Cernobbio, ItalyThis 4 stars Art nouveau building hotel is located a few minutes away from the town of Como. Read my review and honest Q/A that I am sure you will appreciate when it comes to the decision making of your booking. I have included images too, information and map locator for you to make your own decision too, don't hesitate to contact me if you have further questions :) This is my personal review & opinion based on my standards, it may differ from yours and I'd be happy to discuss your thoughts if you have stayed or have been to any of the places that I will be talking about. -Is it worth a 4 star hotel? No, service was very poor, even taken into consideration the virus, you still need to remember that you are the client and that you pay a lot of money to be there and I think that sometimes staff may forget that. Every job is hard, but when you pay for a service it needs to deliver. -They made me wait 26 minutes in the lobby in my bikini to get a towel for the pool, which BTW shocking they make you rent the pool towels, without telling you before hand, this isn't really acceptable coming from a 4 star hotel... They also made us were swim cap to go to the pool. -Do they have a parking? They have a parking which I think is 10€ per day, if not there is a free Parking a little further down the street. -Menu: The food menu was so bad that we ended up going to another restaurant for dinner. -Room: Our room was very clean, no English Channels that we could find, the bathroom had loads of goodies. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but it does the job, incredible view with a balcony. -Breakfast: Surprisingly the breakfast was very good, the view was so pretty and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The fruits were super fresh and cut on the day, not canned fruits, home made fruit juice too, scrambled bottled eggs, a selection of cakes for breakfast too. -Would I go back? I don't think that this hotel is worth the money, however it is a nice view and relaxing location, so if it is on your way and you need to stay in the area, I'd say check in :)
